Thomas is Senior Advisor at FLICT. He bears overall responsibility in giving direction and managing the ongoing project on behalf of GIZ. His background is in developing strategies and programmes, addressing drivers of insecurity and conflict. Thomas has conducted peace & conflict impact assessments for governments, donors and civil society, mainstreaming conflict sensitivity approaches into governments and partner policies.

Lena is Advisor at FLICT, responsible for the management and coordination of the team for conceptual work, monitoring and evaluation, knowledge management, PR and communication. As a political scientist and ethnologist she has been working at universities and in bilateral development organizations with a background on peace stabilization, security issues, reconstruction and mainstreaming conflict sensitivity after violent conflicts in several countries.

Ranjan is Technical Advisor for Local Governance and Community Empowerment at FLICT. He is responsible for the management of the Local Governance and Community empowerment programme. His Academic background is in the areas of Business Studies, Provincial Administration and Economics. He has experience in humanitarian field, Local Governance/ Community Development throughout Sri Lanka.

Dayani is Technical Advisor for the formulation of the Policy framework at FLICT. She is an Attorney-at-Law by profession with a Master degree. Her academic background is in Public International Law, International Relations, Security Studies, Conflict Resolution, International Trade Law, disarmament, Demobilisation and Reintegration. Dayani has working experience in human rights, conflict resolution, negotiation, mediation, policy and strategy planning, disarmament, demobilization and reintegration, security sector reform and social integration.

Priyadharshini is Finance Manager at FLICT. Her key responsibilities include ensuring smooth function of financial management and Administration at FLICT. She has over 25 years of experience in the field of Finance & Management. She has held key management positions related finance and administration at several Government Authorities.

Pradeepa is Finance Assistant at FLICT. Her main responsibilities include assisting the financial functions of the programme. She is currently continuing studies in the field of Human Resource Management and Financial Management. Pradeepa has over 4 years working experience in the field of accountancy and finance.

Hasini is senior programme officer in Knowledge management and communications. She works on knowledge management with a focus on training and the promotion of Social Integration through creative media. She specializes in Education, Culture and Communications. As a trained sociologist, she obtained her Masters in Asian Studies in Sweden. She has experience in working with partners using art and media for peace, public relations and het development of various workshops. 

Hemantha  is senior programme officer of Local Governance and Community Empowerment for Galle District. He has an academic background in Political Sciences and International Relations.  He obtained his masters degree on International Affairs and Politics in India.  Hemantha has experience in working with Partner Organizations working with Good Governance and civic participation and in cooperation with our relevant ministries in our working environment.

Humaira is a programme officer in the Local Governance and Community Empowerment for Puttlam District. She is responsible for Social integration work carried out by FLICT in Puttlam district. She is a trainer and instructor on Rural Development and has also coordinated Peace campaigns around the country. Humaira has been specially trained on Special Needs of Women and Youth in Israel.

Niroshana works as Programme Officer for Local Governance and Community Empowerment programme. He bears responsibility for Social Integration of Badulla district. His work and academic background are in the fields of International Relations and Human Resources Management. He has received training on Gender and Local Governance in Israel and training on Panchayat Raj system of Local Governance from Kerala, India.

Hasanthi is Junior Programme Officer and works on knowledge management, communications & Public Relations. She’s an honors graduate in Humanities, and follows Development Studies as Postgraduate. She has worked on Research, Grants administration/ Fundraising, Communications and Knowledge management in the development sector focusing on Human Rights, Poverty, Accessibility, Community Governance &Technology Justice.

Jegan is Junior Programme Officer for Local Governance and Community Integration. He assists the Programme with the planning and implementation of the project’s overall strategy and work plan and helps develop milestones and outcomes for the project. His academic background is in the area of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development. Jegan holds a Masters Degree from University of Hohenheim, Stuttgart-Germany.

Chrishan is Information systems officer. He is overall in charge of IT, he is responsible for LAN/WLAN administration, Audio Visual technical support and also extends his assistance to the communication team of FLICT. Chrishan is a Microsoft Certified System Administrator. He has been working with GIZ in Sri Lanka since 2003.

Heinz is Administrative officer. His key responsibility is handling all administration related functions of FLICT. He also extends his support to programme related work, and logistics. Heinz has an academic background in professional Business Management. He has several years of working experience with GIZ in the Administrative Department.

Siriyalatha supports the programme as the office aide. Before joining FLICT, Siriyalatha has worked at Abans Environmental Services. She joined FLICT in March of 2010.

Bithu is Administrative Assistant cum Driver at FLICT. He extends his support to the administrative department. Bithu has worked for GIZ country office as Chauffeur, office assistant and administrative assistant.

Upali is the Office Assistant cum Driver at FLICT. His experience with GIZ dates back to1998 when he came in as driver. He has also extended his support to the Rural Banking Inauguration project in Kandy.

Siva is an office assistant cum driver at FLICT. He has been working for GIZ since 1998 as driver/office assistant. Before joining GIZ he worked for the Town Council in Jaffna and as driver in Saudia Arabia.
