How to apply
If you are interested in making an application to FLICT, consider the following steps first:
- Get familiarized with conflict transformation and the focus areas of FLICT
- Undertake a situation or conflict analysis in relation to your area of work
- Identify major issues and prioritize them
- Examine critically the main problems or concerns and ensure that they are relevant to one of the three FLICT focus area.
- Develop a mechanism to obtain the participation of the beneficiaries when the needs analysis is done and identifying possible interventions.
- Identify the desired change and how this change can be objectively measured, if achieved. Develop measures and also the methods of verification.
- Now identify cost effective and feasible activities to bring about the desired changes.
- Develop a program of activities and a plan of (implantation) implementation / time frame for proposed project
- Based on the proposed activities, identify the resources required
- Develop a mechanism for implementation, monitoring and record keeping
- Cost the resources for all inputs, categorize them and develop the budget.
- Present the information as requested in the formats prepared by FLICT for project proposals.
- Review and finalize the proposal
