Most partner organisations come to us with a head full of ideas and a heart brimming with inspiration. But the success of a project lies also in skillful project management, constant monitoring and evaluation and re-adjustments. As an organisation with a focus on capacity development FLICT constantly tries to coach its partners in project and financial management.

Partner Orientation Programme, 7th April 2009

Recognizing the need for project management support within many partner organisations, FLICT organised an orientation programme for new partners entering into contract with FLICT on the 7th April. 19 organisations working around the island under different themes related to conflict transformation attended the programme along with some members from FLICT’s steering committee and donor group.

The event was also a great networking opportunity for the partners, and many possibilities of working together and synergies were unearthed. Partners also identified the outcomes they worked towards collectively and mapped out their programme outreach. The report on the event gives an overview of the programme and its outcomes:
