Dr Wijesiriwardena has been an expert and activist in the media and culture scene and has worked as an evaluator/ judge in numerous panels for Art Festivals in Sri Lanka since 1986. As a playwright, a literary translator, and a literary editor he has made notable contributions to fields of Sinhala Literature and the Theatre.
Asanga Pradeep Coorey
Asanga has completed Diplomas in HRM, Youth in Development work, Psychology and is currently reading for a Bachelor Degree in Social Work. He was a youth leader/activist in Sri Lanka National Youth Services Council and in the National Youth Federation. Asanga is a past participant of Canada Sri Lanka Youth Exchange Program in 2002-2003, which focuses on International Education. He has several years experience in Humanitarian work and has worked with CCF, Sri Lanka Foundation Institute, Alliance Lanka, World University Service of Canada (WUSC). Other work experience include short term assignments and consultancies with Red Cross, TI Sri Lanka, Foundation for Internaional Education, University of Colombo, Open University, USAID, and British Council. He joined FLICT as a Consultant in 2008.
