Film is a powerful medium of communication and messages to a larger pubilc. When done well it can capture our attention and keep us engaged both emotionally and cerebrally for a fair duration of time. We believe that film can be used effectively to enable people to think differently. But, they have greater potential for change, if used in a social discourse or debate enabling people to question long hold beliefs and values.

The already available films can be used further for training and learning environments, integrated to various programs as alternative training material. They can also be used in less formal settings of film and youth clubs and camps for the combination of entertainment, reflection and discussion.
We would like to support an optimum use of all the material that is already out there, while fresh ideas and foci are adressed in new productions.

While FLICT acknowledges and appreciates the work that is reviewed and presented in this bibilography we do not claim this to be a totally exhaustive exercise. There may be other productions not reviewed here. Any such omissions are regretted. We are reday to bring them to our notice for inclusion in future revisions.
