FLICT Donors

Every donor contributing to FLICT nominates a representative for the Donor Group. Interested and potential new donors may be invited to attend a meeting with observer status. At the moment three bi-lateral donor agencies support FLICT: the German Ministry for Economic and Development Cooperation (BMZ/FRG), the Department for International Development (DFID/UK), and the Australian Government’s Overseas Aid Programme (AusAID/AUS) While all management decisions will be taken within the Project Unit and the Steering Committee (according to their respective terms of reference), the Donor Group retains policy responsibility. It focuses on the overall design, objectives and monitoring of the performance as well as management of funds flow in accordance with the strategy defined by the Steering Committee.
