Who we support and how

Who we support
Support is granted to local initiatives working in the area of conflict transformation. These may be

  • civil society organizations (including CBOs, NGOs, and religious groups)
  • professional associations and organisations, media, teachers, arts and business community,
  • networks, intermediaries, consortia and other formal or informal co-operations for peace building, and
  • public sector organisations working in our focus areas and striving towards civic participation.
  • Organizations should be registered with any one of the relevant state authorities.

    - Registrar of Companies

    How we support

    The services provided by FLICT are as follows:

    1. Information generation and dissemination of experiences and lessons learnt.

    2. Grant Management (proposal calls and provision of funds for conflict transformation projects in the three focus areas and on regional specific issues).

    3. Capacity building support (including need identification, designing training interventions, commissioning interventions for CSOs and decentralised state actors).

    4. Coaching (on-the-job).

    5. Development of a decentralized pool of consultants in Conflict Transformation.

    6. Regional Approach (participatory regional analyses, identification of burning issues, call for proposals in regard to FLICT’s mandate).

    7. Networking and collective action (between CSOs, state agents, regional consultants, INGOs etc.).

    8. Support to the Partner Ministry, Ministry of Constitutional Affairs and National Integration (training of National Integration Officers, support to National Language Institute etc.).
