Vision and Objectives

FLICT works towards a peaceful Sri Lanka. It aims to strengthen civil society to be actively engaged in supporting democracy, celebrating diversity and contributing to lasting peace.

Our Vision
A peaceful and pluralistic Sri Lankan society that encompasses the needs and rights of all people in the country and is able to resolve its conflicts non-violently.

Our Objectives
Sri Lankan civil society organisations

contribute significantly towards the acceptance of democratic pluralistic values,

take an active role in establishing mechanisms for civic non violent conflict resolution,

work in cooperation with each other in conflict transformation activities and

engage with state institutions to achieve better impact and acceptance.
